2022 Remington Viney Memorial Scholarship Recipients
Valarie Meyer
Our first-place scholarship recipient ($5,000) holds a private pilot license and an instrument rating. As a 4.0 honor student in her sophomore year, she is pursuing an Aviation Flight and Management degree through Southern Illinois University.
She actively participates in Women in Aviation International, The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance, leads the aviation club, and mentors other student pilots.
She is currently working on her commercial pilot certificate and is pursuing a Certified Flight Instructor rating.
Morgan Treadway
Our second-place recipient ($2,000) is a student at the University of WI-Madison. She is pursuing a degree in Global Security with a minor in French.
She’s heavily involved in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps and is a team leader for Badger Cru. She has aspirations of piloting C-17s for the United States Air Force.
She holds a private pilot license and is pursuing an instrument rating.
