Memorial Birthday Success

Remington’s Memorial Birthday fundraiser was a huge success! Many people came out to take part in the day. We sold out of her commemorative mugs, went through all the delicious food and The Remington shots, and sold many t-shirts. The crowd enjoyed the music from Kovalence and The Ron Denson Band. Kevin Hanson of Kovalence sang a song he’s written for SSgt Remington Viney and Major “Hawk” Jones. Stay tuned for more information. Our silent auction was phenomenal! We raised over $10,000 for Remington’s scholarship fund. Waunahops and The Lone Girl Brewing Company presented us with a $10,000 check as proceeds from the 2022 Take Flight fundraiser. Overall, this $20,000 will fund four scholarships. If fact, we are highly considering making this an annual event.
