EAA Air Venture Oshkosh 2024 Scholarship Announcement

We are thrilled to announce that the Remington Viney Legacy and Women in Aviation—Four Lakes chapter will present our annual aviation scholarship at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 on WomenVenture Day, July 24. Remington was an avid EAA attendee and held the rank of SSgt in the 115th Air National Guard Wing of Madison, WI. The 115th ANG has coordinated and is sponsoring this presentation to honor her legacy. 

Scholarship Details:

• Amount: $5,000
• Eligibility:  Female Wisconsin age 16 or older at the time of award
• Requirements: 
• Complete our application  describing your passion for aviation and your career goals
• The winning recipient must be able to attend EAA AirVenture on Wednesday, July 24, at EAA WomenVenture Day

• Two letters of recommendation
• Member of or eligible to become a member of Women in Aviation-Four Lakes chapter

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to encouraging and advancing women in aviation careers and interests. To honor Remington’s legacy, we offer a  $5,000 annual scholarship for a Wisconsin female pursuing a license, rating, or endorsement in aviation. 

About EAA Air Venture Oshkosh

EAA Air Venture Oshkosh is the world’s largest aviation gathering annually in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event features over 10,000 aircraft, including vintage planes, warbirds, and the latest aviation technology. It is a must-attend event for aviation enthusiasts and professionals.
